This picture makes me ridiculously happy. I taught myself to knit from a book many (many) years ago, before there were Dummies and Complete Idiots. I found it strangely satisfying to learn such a skill from a book. And I discovered that knitting is actually easier to do than you'd ever think from watching someone do it. Have fun!
I'm so looking forward to do this! I'm kind of a fidgety person, and I like to do 2 things at once most of the time, so I'm thinking knitting will work for me. Wish me luck!
I have this book! Brian bought it for me years ago! I tried, but realized that with two kids running around the house, I do not have the patience. I am a perfectionist, so one day when there are more hours in the day, I will resume my training and maybe make something more than a lopsided potholder.
